host a house concert
House concerts are the best kind of shows. They allow for us and our listeners to have a cozy and intimate music sharing experience. The pace is slower and the feel is far more relaxed when you can lounge in your own home and let the music come to you!
House concerts are simple: for the host, you provide a living room or area fitted with couches or seats, your friends, space on the floor for people to sit, and snacks. We, of course, provide the music.

DOES SIZE MATTER?
Not in the slightest! We love cozy shows just as much as big packed venues. A small living room or any space that allows for your guests to comfortably enjoy the night is perfect.
As for guests, as many as you would like to host is the right number. A good minimum is 10. Posting your event via Facebook or contact people directly ensures we get a good crowd to share the night with.
WHAT IS THE COST?
Nothing! Besides the snacks/drinks you provide your guests, we don't charge a fee for house shows. Shows are funded by your guests via donations. As a host, you can either put a donation jar by the door or "pass the hat" around the room after we've started playing. We do ask that you encourage your guests to donate, as donations support our efforts and help us to keep making music. You are welcome to interrupt our concert for a minute to make sure folks know there is a jar/basket by the door OR you can pass that basket around to them during the show. Typically, hosts like to specify a suggested donation of $10 (on average), but some hosts will encourage more.
PRIVATE OR PUBLIC?
All house shows are listed as a “Private House Show” on our schedule. If you would like to open it up to local fans we will share your event on our page with a limit for outside guests (set by you). Your address will not be listed, it will only be disclosed to confirmed guests with your express permission.
HOW DO WE GET STARTED?
Just send us an email and we can discuss a date for the concert as well as further details such as arrivals, start time, and the creation of your Facebook event. It's up to you to decide if the drinks/snacks are provided by you or provided potluck style. Most of all, have fun! When it comes down to it, it's a party with live music to boot!
HOW LONG WILL THE CONCERT BE?
How much do you want to hear? We are available to play our music for 1 or 1.5 hours.
WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF IT?
What we love about house concerts is how intimate they are. There are no third parties, just us and our listeners. It's about the music and how we can all connect through it. We love to answer questions about our music and how comfortable our listeners are when the song ends and we can all just be human together.
